Still dealing with split ends? Read this first!

Split ends are one of the most common hair problems-but the truth is, they can’t be repaired once formed, only managed and prevented with the right care.

A good starting point is a gentle hair care routine. Use a mild, sulfate-free shampoo and always follow with a nourishing conditioner to keep your hair hydrated. Adding a weekly deep conditioning mask can help restore moisture and reduce dryness.

One major cause of split ends is excessive heat styling. Frequent use of straighteners, curlers, and blow dryers weakens hair strands. If you use heat tools, always apply a heat protectant and keep the temperature low.

Another important habit is handling your hair gently. Wet hair is more fragile, so avoid rough towel drying and use a wide-tooth comb to detangle without causing breakage.

Regular trims are essential. Cutting your hair every 6–8 weeks prevents split ends from spreading further.

Lastly, focus on nutrition and hydration. A balanced diet and proper hair protection from sun and pollution help maintain healthy, strong hair over time.
