Noida-based Suhora is emerging as a pivotal deeptech player by converting vast pools of satellite imagery into actionable real-time intelligence for defence forces, disaster authorities and major infrastructure clients. The startup builds geospatial intelligence platforms that go beyond raw data to deliver meaningful insights that help governments and enterprises respond faster and more accurately to unfolding events.
Founded in 2018 by Krishanu Acharya with co-founders Rupesh Kumar and Amit Kumar, Suhora began with agriculture applications but quickly pivoted to high-value domains such as defence and disaster response where speed and precision matter most. Today, the company works with over 300 satellites, enabling customers to task satellites, process images and derive intelligence within hours of an event. Its products include platforms for defence situational awareness, flood and cyclone monitoring, and energy infrastructure analysis.
Suhora’s solutions combine computer vision, AI and machine learning to identify and forecast critical changes — from tracking military assets on land and sea to assessing flood impact in disaster zones. The startup serves Indian armed forces, state governments and international energy firms, and has grown to a team of around 75 professionals. With strong revenue growth and expanding global ambitions, Suhora is positioning itself as a key intelligence-as-a-service provider in defence, disaster and critical infrastructure intelligence.
