Dhoni vows long-term bond with CSK!

After months of retirement speculation, MS Dhoni has finally spoken up about his future with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). At a private event, the legendary cricketer quipped: “Me and CSK, we are together, even for the next 15–20 years… I hope they don’t think I’ll be playing for another 15–20 years!” The remark sparked cheers among fans - signaling that while his playing days might be winding down, his association with the franchise is here to stay.

Dhoni underscored that his role won't be limited to one or two seasons. “I will always be sitting in a yellow jersey,” he added, leaving open the possibility of contributing off the field in mentorship or management capacities .

Well-known for his understated presence, Dhoni’s comment comes after a turbulent IPL 2025 season where CSK finished last. Despite this setback, his words offer reassurance to fans that the legendary captain isn’t going anywhere soon - he's simply evolving his role, continuing to shape CSK's future beyond his signature strokes.
